Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Aibotrix collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information when you visit our online store, contact us or place an order. Our storefront runs on Shopify. Shopify and service providers may process information for us to host, secure and operate the store, checkout and order services.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, information may include: contact, billing and shipping details; order, transaction, return and customer-support information; messages you send us; device, browser, IP address and approximate location derived from IP; and activity on the store, such as pages viewed and actions taken. Shopify and payment providers handle payment credentials during checkout. Do not email us full payment card numbers or security codes.
Why we use information
We use information to provide the store and checkout, take and fulfill orders, communicate about orders, deliver customer support, process cancellations, returns and refunds, maintain site security, detect fraud, troubleshoot errors, understand performance, comply with legal obligations and, only where enabled and permitted, measure or personalize advertising.
Cookies and similar technologies
Shopify and service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags or similar technologies. Depending on what is configured, these can include: (1) necessary technologies for checkout, cart, security and core site functions; (2) preference technologies that remember choices; (3) analytics technologies that help understand store visits and performance; and (4) advertising technologies used for campaign measurement or advertising. We do not claim that tracking is absent.
As of this policy’s update, Shopify’s privacy settings show its cookie banner is auto-managed but disabled, so a cookie preference banner may not be presented on every visit. You can control cookies through browser or device settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent cart, checkout or other site functions. To submit a request to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising where applicable, use Your Privacy Choices or contact us below. The privacy choices page is Shopify’s native page and is not replaced by a custom form.
Google Maps and advertising services
The Contact page and homepage may include Google Maps content. If you choose to load a map on either page, Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser and device information, and the map request. Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Ads remarketing, Enhanced Conversions, advertising cookies or personalized advertising are not asserted to be enabled by this policy. If one or more of those services is separately enabled in the future, relevant information may be processed for analytics, campaign attribution, conversion measurement or advertising, subject to the service configuration, your choices and applicable law. You can use available browser ad-privacy controls, applicable opt-out preference signals, and the native Your Privacy Choices page for requests that apply to sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
Disclosure to service providers and others
We may disclose information to Shopify and its service providers, payment and checkout providers, carriers, customer-service, fraud-prevention and security providers, and analytics or advertising providers only when configured and for the purposes described above. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, government authorities where legally required, or parties involved in a business transfer. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may treat certain advertising disclosures as “sharing,” sale or targeted advertising; where those laws apply, you may exercise the corresponding opt-out rights below.
Your privacy rights and how to exercise them
Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal information; opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; or appeal a decision. To make a request, email support@aibotrix.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject, describe the right you want to exercise and identify the relevant account or order if applicable. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for written permission or other evidence of authority and may verify the consumer’s identity as allowed by law. We will request only information reasonably needed to verify, route and respond to the request. You do not need to create an account solely to make a privacy request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
California: Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies, we will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond to requests to know/access, correct or delete within 45 calendar days. If reasonably necessary, we may take one additional 45-day period and will notify you and explain the reason within the original period. If we deny a request, email us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject and explain what you believe we should reconsider; we will review it and respond as required by law. You may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or California Attorney General.
Colorado: Where the Colorado Privacy Act applies, we will respond within 45 days. If reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period by up to 45 additional days and will notify you within the initial period with the reason. If we decline to act, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@aibotrix.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject within a reasonable period. We will respond to an appeal within 45 days and may extend by up to 60 additional days where reasonably necessary, with notice and reasons.
Connecticut: Where the Connecticut Data Privacy Act applies, we will respond within 45 days and may extend by one additional 45-day period where reasonably necessary, with notice. If we deny a request, you may appeal within 60 days by emailing support@aibotrix.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject. We will respond to the appeal within 60 days; if we deny it, we will provide information about contacting the Connecticut Attorney General.
Where required by applicable law, we recognize a qualifying opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising. The availability and effect of a signal depends on applicable law and the configuration of the relevant services.
Retention, security and children
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including to fulfill orders, maintain records, resolve disputes, protect the store and meet legal requirements. We then delete or de-identify it where practicable. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International processing and changes
Shopify and service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, subject to applicable safeguards. We may revise this policy by posting a new version and date. Contact us using the information below with questions or privacy requests.
